Signatures are refreshed on an daily basis, with emergency push updates in case of an outbreak.

To activate the AV option on your appliance:

1. Register on the NetDefend Centre to take advantage of the free 3-month trial period.
2. At the end of the trial period, you can purchase a further 12-month subscription package.
3. This package includes the authorisation code that must be entered on to the device configuration page.
4. Once this is done, the device continues to receive signature updates.
