The Web Content Filtering (WCF) service helps organisations monitor, manage and control staff usage of the Internet.
The system uses an external database of millions of URLs that are automatically analysed and categorised using Artificial Intelligence.
All the work is done in the background, ensuring minimum administrator involvement.

To activate the WCF option on your appliance:

1. Register on the NetDefend Centre to take advantage of the free 3-month trial period.
2. At the end of the trial period, you can purchase a further 12-month subscription package.
3. This package includes the authorisation code that must be entered on to the device configuration page.
4. Once this is done, the device continues to receive URL classification updates.
